Accessibility

We want every family to be able to use npelitebasketball.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That includes:

• Text with enough contrast to read comfortably
• Every page and form usable with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link
• Labeled form fields, with errors and confirmations announced to screen readers
• A logical heading structure on every page
• Layouts that work when zoomed in and on small screens
• Smooth scrolling turned off when your device is set to reduce motion

We test the site with automated accessibility tools and by hand when we make changes.

Known limitations

Some links go to sites we don't control, such as Instagram, Google Maps and tournament hosts. We can't guarantee their accessibility.
